Amidst the majestic mountain scenery of the Hochkönig, the Bike & Hike tour takes you by bike from Mühlbach to the Arthurhaus, where the hike to the Hochkeil begins. By bike, you ride from the town center of Mühlbach up steadily ascending switchbacks on asphalt to the Arthurhaus. The tour is also well suited for gravel bikes or road bikes. After the hike to the Hochkeil, you quickly cycle back downhill to the starting point.

Path Conditions
From the town center of Mühlbach, cycle along the Hochkönig Federal Road (B164) towards Dienten. After the Gasthof Lederer, take the first right turn (about 1 km) and follow the signs for the “Watzmann-Hochkönig Round” until you reach Mandlwandstraße (L246). After a short stretch on the state road, turn right again at the beginning, following the signs for the “Watzmann-Hochkönig Round.” Now, continue to follow the path all the way to the Berghotel Arthurhaus.
