Right after the Servicecenter Maria Alm, turn right and walk along the cemetery wall, past the House of Encounter and the kindergarten to the district of Urchen. Here, cross the federal road and continue hiking up the Urslau on Path No. 11 until you reach the district of Unterberg. After the small bridge at the foot of the Aberg, the winter hiking trail No. 11 ascends, and you pass the Kröllbauer, where you turn onto Path No. 28. Continue hiking past the Christernbauer and the Christernreithbauer until you reach the Bärmoosalm, located at the mountain station of the Abergbahn. Enjoy the activity on the mountain and refresh yourself with a good snack and a cup of tea before returning along the same path to Maria Alm. If you want a more comfortable descent, the descent with the Abergbahn is recommended.

Path Conditions
Start your route at the Servicecenter Maria Alm. Immediately turn right and follow the cemetery wall. Stay on the path and pass the House of Encounter as well as the kindergarten. Here you have to cross the federal road. Follow Path No. 11, which leads you up the Urslau. Enjoy the nature as you walk towards the district of Unterberg. After the small bridge at the foot of the Aberg, the winter hiking trail No. 11 starts to ascend. Pass the Kröllbauer and then turn onto Path No. 28. Continue hiking and pass the Christernbauer and the Christernreithbauer. The path finally leads you to the Bärmoosalm, which is located directly at the mountain station of the Abergbahn. Treat yourself to a well-deserved break! Enjoy the activity on the mountain, refresh yourself with a hearty snack and a cup of tea. For the return journey take the same path back to Maria Alm. Alternatively, if you prefer it more relaxed, you can also choose the comfortable descent with the Abergbahn.
