You can hike the Hochkeil directly from Mühlbach. Start your route on the Erzweg (No. 84a, 88, 85) in the town center and follow the path to the Gasthof Sonneck. Here you first follow the Güterweg No. 18a, which goes around the Hochkeil. Take the turn onto path No. 84, which leads directly to the Hochkeil. With good visibility, you can even see the summit of the Großglockner from up here! For the return journey, you can take the path towards Arthurhaus. From there, the hiking bus goes to Mühlbach.
