To the Aueralm in idyllic Hinterthal

Start your hike in the center of Hinterthal at the parish church. Follow the yellow trail markers with trail number 401A. The path leads you on an asphalted route up to the Aueralm. The traditionally managed alpine pasture is the perfect place for a break for the whole family. Here you can enjoy the sun on the wooden loungers and admire the view of the surrounding mountain scenery, the Stone Sea, and the Hochkönig massif. Return via the same path (recommended with a stroller) or a bit longer via the Filzenweg trail no. 34a.
