Ski tour Marbachhöhe
Ski tour Marbachhöhe
Start your ski tour at the parking lot at the Hintermoos ski center – it’s best to choose the upper parking spaces near the practice lift. Strap on your skis and get ready for an exciting adventure! Begin your ascent along the slope of the practice lift, to the right of the mountain station. Follow the path around the Bundessportheim until you reach a bridge. Here it’s best to take the road to the right – be careful, as there may be some gravel! Follow the road until the start of the forest road. Continue comfortably along the road until you reach Eggeralm. From there, the path leads on until about 200 meters before the Alm buildings where you turn left. Now ascend in some switchbacks along the western slopes to the northern saddle of Marbachhöhe. Marbachhöhe is not a real peak, but from the ridge, you will find an breathtaking panoramic view that definitely makes the ascent worth it. If you still have enough stamina, you can continue along the ridge to Klingspitz. Here it gets a bit more demanding: The summit ascent is relatively steep and requires good technique as well as switchbacks. Pay special attention to the east-facing snow cornices! For the descent, you usually choose the same route as the ascent, but if you dare, there are some rewarding variants. These are only recommended with appropriate avalanche conditions and local knowledge. Get ready for an unforgettable ski adventure! Every turn and every view of the impressive landscape will remain in your memory for a long time!
