PINZGA HATSCHA Variant A (from Statzerhaus to Maria Alm)
PINZGA HATSCHA Variant A (from Statzerhaus to Maria Alm)
The Pinzga' Hatscha as a long-distance hiking trail can be experienced on foot, with summer lifts or public transport and reveals the hidden treasures of this unique landscape. Large parts of the Pinzga' Hatscha lead through alpine and high alpine landscapes. For this reason, a plant native to this area, the silver thistle, is the symbol of this long-distance trail. The silver thistle and the Pinzga' Hatscha even have one thing in common: both can have their tricks.

Path Conditions
The first part from Statzerhaus to Schwalbenwand is the same as stage 9 (Statzerhaus - Maishofen). However, from there it continues slightly downhill northwards along the ridge, always with the Hochkönig massif in view. After about 500 meters of descent, the path finally joins a forest track and continues gently along it to Maria Alm.
