From here, the path leads you directly past the rustic Windraucheggalm into the Riedingtal, which, with its spectacular waterfalls, is considered a true natural gem. Feel the anticipation as you go a bit downhill (path no. 86) to the Riedingalm. Here you are surrounded by the impressive beauty of the landscape! Pause, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and let the nature around you take effect. Continue your way uphill on path no. 85 into the Barbaraschlucht. This section is a real highlight – the breathtaking rock formations and the sound of the water will captivate you. The Erzweg, an interactive theme trail, tells you exciting stories from the mining history of Mühlbach. Let the experience stations inspire you and dive into the fascinating past of this region. The Erzweg leads you back to the Arthurhaus, the starting point of your hike today.

Path Conditions

The starting point is the Arthurhaus (N6), which can be easily reached by car. Right at the Arthurhaus, the path leads past the managed Windraucheggalm into the Riedingtal. With its spectacular waterfalls, the valley is considered a unique natural gem. From here, you go down a bit (path no. 86) to the Riedingalm. Then continue along path no. 85 into the Barbaraschlucht and over the exciting Erzweg. This theme path tells the fascinating mining history of Mühlbach with interactive experience stations. Past the Mandlwandhaus, it goes back up a slight incline to the starting point of the hike. Alternatively, from the Erzweg junction, you can take the hiking bus to the Arthurhaus or Mühlbach.
