This hike starts in the center of Hinterthal near the parish church. There you will find both parking spaces and a bus stop. The circuit can be walked in different directions as you like. Attention: This hike is not suitable for strollers!

Path Conditions
This cozy hike starts at the parish church in the center of Hinterthal. Yellow trail signs with no. 401 A lead us straight up over an asphalted path within a short time to the open area at the Aueralm. There we are surprised by a breathtaking Hochkönig panorama. We follow the signage back towards Hinterthal along trail no. 34a. This is the so-called "old Filzenweg." After an initially quite comfortable straight stretch, we reach a junction where trail no. 34 leads downhill back to Hinterthal, thus completing the circuit.
