We start at the Dienten ski center (village 66a) through the parking deck on the residential street towards Bründlstadl/Zachhof along path no. 65. This path leads partly along the Hochkönig federal road. After about 300 m we turn right onto path no. 63 (forest road) towards Bürglalm. Upon reaching a fork in the path, we continue on path no. 15 past Plaudereggalm (not managed). From here follows a short, steep ascent to Bürglalm. From there it continues to the reservoir pond. Around it, you will find the wonderful information boards lovingly designed by the Salzburg farmers.
Descent:
- ascent path back via a short but steep trail to Plaudereggalm
- comfortable return to the valley via forest road no. 63
- Bürglalm lift (opening hours)
