Alm and hut hike from Hintermoos to the Jufen
The hike to the Jufenalm is the perfect outing for you and your family! The starting point is the Skizentrum Hintermoos, from where you set off on a gently ascending path to the Sonnberg. Right from the start, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the majestic mountains. The hiking trail winds through idyllic meadows and dense forests that in the summer months invite you to marvel with colorful flowers and fresh greenery. Here you can experience nature up close, while the kids explore the surroundings and maybe even discover a few animals. After about 1.5 to 2 hours, you reach the Jufenalm – a popular resting place that offers you numerous leisure opportunities. Particularly exciting is the wildlife enclosure, where the children can watch native animals like deer and wild boars. For action lovers among you, there is a 3D archery course that guarantees plenty of fun! And after all the activity comes the enjoyment: The Alm spoils you with regional specialties and homemade delicacies that taste simply delicious after the hike. For the return journey, you have the choice: Either you take the same way back to the Skizentrum Hintermoos or you opt for the descent to Maria Alm.

Path Conditions
You start at the Skizentrum Hintermoos and walk about 300 m along the Hochkönig federal road towards Hinterthal. Then you follow trail No. 26d to your destination, the Jufenalm. The descent is either via the ascent path or alternatively to Maria Alm via trails No. 25 or 26.
