Winter hiking local & walking path "Oberwirt"

Start your winter hike in our charming village. Keep an eye out for the snow-covered roofs and the sparkling icicles that turn the surroundings into a winter fairy tale. Begin to the left and enjoy the fresh, clear breeze as you leave the Sparkasse behind you. Turn right and with every step go deeper into the peaceful winter landscape. Walk past the church and feel the calm only winter can bring. The path leads you uphill to the Alpendomizil – an impressive dark building that majestically blends into the snow-covered landscape. Pause briefly to enjoy the view and maybe take some photos of the beautiful scenery. Follow the narrow path to the intersection at Mandlwandstraße. Here turn left and walk along the street while the snow crunches under your feet. Look out for the small wooden hut on your right. Turn right here and walk past various farms. The coziness of the farmhouses will give you a feeling of home. As you continue uphill toward Bachgut, a beautiful mountain farm, you will be enveloped by the silence and beauty of nature. Here you can stop, take a deep breath, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. On the way back follow the same path back into the village. Take your time to absorb the winter splendor once more. Maybe you feel like a warm cocoa or mulled wine in one of the cozy cafés.
