Strap on your snowshoes and start towards the cross-country skiing trail. The path initially runs along a well-prepared cross-country skiing trail. This route is easy to walk and ideal for snowshoers. The trail winds through an idyllic winter landscape surrounded by snow-covered trees and gentle hills. Take your time to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. As you follow the trail, you will repeatedly be treated to wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Stop to take photos and admire the landscape. Make sure you don’t leave the marked path. >Junction to Erichhütte: After about 1.5 to 2 hours, you will reach the junction to Erichhütte, which is clearly signposted. Please follow the sign to Erichhütte. The path now becomes a little steeper and leads into open terrain. From the junction, you can make good use of your snowshoes to move through the deep snow. The path is not always clearly visible, so it’s important to take care of your safety and, if necessary, use maps or GPS devices for orientation. Enjoy the pristine nature and the silence that this remote area exudes. Arrival at Erichhütte: After another 30 to 60 minutes of walking, you will reach Erichhütte. Path Conditions
Beautiful snowshoe hike from the Dachegg parking lot or König&Kuh along the cross-country skiing trail to the Erichhütte junction (from here open terrain). In winter, there is not much to see at the Erichhütte parking lot as the entire parking area, except for the bus stop, is covered by a layer of snow. We follow the still slightly visible path towards the Erichhütte, gently ascending to the left. Often, ski touring tracks can be seen. This route is also very popular with ski tourers heading to the Taghauben pass. We follow the path up to the Erichhütte. Although not staffed in winter, it is a beautiful viewpoint.
