Your starting point for the route is the church in Hinterthal. From there you pass the Guesthouse Obermußbach and follow the easy path to Filzensattel. If you have enough time and desire, Filzensattel is the perfect starting point for further routes to Pichlalm, Gabühelhütte, Steinbockalm.

Path Conditions
From Hinterthal you start heading towards Filzensattel, passing the guesthouse Obermussbach. Then you turn right onto forest road no. 34. From there you climb up to Filzensattel. From Filzensattel you can either take the hiking bus or the post bus 620 back to the starting point in Hinterthal, or you continue to Gabühelhütte, Steinbockalm, or Pichlalm.
