Panoramic village route

Start at the Service center Maria Alm. Take the path towards Natrunbahn along Dorfstraße. Continue down the street and pass Hotel Niederreiter, which is on your right. After about 300 m, cross the bridge on your left. Take time to also pay attention to the details this route offers. You will pass several wayside shrines and traditional farms. This village route still offers some beautiful spots waiting to be discovered. Continue following the street towards Grießbachwinkl. After Untergrießbachhof, turn left. Soon you will pass the next farm, Schönberghof. From here, continue along the forest edge to the Kronreith junction. After a short meadow path, you reach an old barn. Take a short break there and enjoy the magnificent view of Maria Alm and the surrounding mountain world. At this barn, there is also a station of the themed trail „On the trail of the pilgrims“. On the way back you will pass the village square and the Maria Alm pilgrimage church. Particularly impressive is the extremely pointed church tower, which at 84 m is considered the highest in the state of Salzburg. After a few meters, you will return to the starting point in front of the Service center Maria Alm.
