The new Primbach route connects the two picturesque towns of Maria Alm and Hinterthal. This route takes you from the district of Krallerwinkl in Maria Alm over the Primbachkögel to Hinterthal.

Path Conditions
The starting point of the route is about 1 km outside the town center. The route runs over the Primbachkögel and ends in the district of Hinterthal. Always follow the MA08 signs.
The Primbach route connects Maria Alm with the district of Hinterthal via forest roads with some short, steeper climbs. Alternatively, the Wawi Twoway Trail can also be used uphill. In the upper section, there is a simple wooden bridge to cross. You can expect stunning views of the Hochkönig massif and the surrounding mountain landscape.
