If you are a true nature lover, you will love this hike! The Riedinger Waterfalls in the Riedingtal are deservedly the natural jewel of Mühlbach am Hochkönig. Your hike begins at the Kopphütte bus stop. From there, follow a wide gravel road that leads you past Kopphütte and Koppalm to Riedingalm. Here you can enjoy a small refreshment or continue hiking on a well-marked trail to the natural spectacle of the Riedinger Waterfalls. Here you can really let your soul dangle and just enjoy the peace. For the return trip, retrace the same path or extend the hike via the 4 huts to Schweizerhütte. From there, the hiking bus departs, or you can stroll along Mitterbergstraße to the Kopphütte parking lot.

Path Conditions

Start at the Kopphütte bus stop (parking available). From here, walk along Mandlwandstraße. Cross the right upper bridge No. 86 and follow the forest path. The path leads you to a small settlement. Continue on the gravel road, past Lettenalm. Hike with a slight ascent to Riedingalm. From Riedingalm, continue your way to the beautiful Riedinger Waterfalls. Initially, there is a wide gravel road which, from around Riedingalm, turns into a hiking trail. From here, it goes over roots and stones into the Riedingtal on a well-marked hiking trail.
