Path Conditions
From the Maria Alm service center, follow path no. 401A to the Forsthof bridge and then continue via path no. 23 along the Krallerbach to Rohrmoos. From there, the ascent follows path no. 30 to the Lechneralm (not operated). Now a short climb on path no. 30 to the Massingsattel and from here the descent through the Wasserfallgraben to Hinterthal. You can comfortably take the hiking bus back to Maria Alm. Alternatively, you can also walk via Pichlbauer and the Jufensattel. This variant extends the route by 2 hours but is very worthwhile.
