Path Conditions
Start in the town center of Goldegg, orient yourself on the local signboards. They inform you about old customs and the region. Leave the town center and follow the signs towards Große Buchberg. The path initially leads uphill on a gravel path. Pay attention to the trail markings that guide you in the right direction. After the ascent, you will reach a beautiful meadow, which offers an ideal photo spot. Here you can take a short break and enjoy the view before continuing your way. The circular route continues into the forest. The shady spots offer you a pleasant cooling. Watch out for the different hiking signs that guide you through the various sections of the forest. Soon you will reach the Böndlsee. This is the perfect place to take a refreshing break. You can dip your legs in the water here or simply enjoy the nature around you. On your way around Buchberg, there are several places to stop for food and drinks. Use these to try regional delicacies and recharge for the next part of the route. Continue your circular route by circling Buchberg. The path goes variably over asphalt, meadows, gravel, and forest paths. Keep an eye out for more signboards that offer interesting information about the region. After circling Buchberg, you return again towards the town center. Follow the markings and enjoy the relaxed hike back to your starting point.
