Gravel bike route Hinterreit route
Along the Urslau, we roll past the skatepark towards Saalfelden. At the Hinterreit valley station, we cross the Hochkönig road and follow the cycle path to Almdorf. At the idyllic village fountain, we turn left and cycle uphill to the Gasthof Hinterreit. During a short break, you can admire the history of some alpine skiing legends here, who use the perfect race slope maintained by piste manager Peter Hörl for World Cup training every year. Over the Schlossberg (attention: short push section), we then roll back to Maria Alm. The route is fully paved and thus perfectly suited as a stress-free, relaxed evening round.

Path Conditions
Start at the Servicecenter Maria Alm. Follow the signs for MA 05 Hinterreit route. After about 100 m (heading towards the town entrance), turn right immediately after the Hotel Moserwirt over a bridge onto the path and follow it towards Schinking. Along the Urslautal golf course, the path leads to the Oedt district. There, turn sharply left and follow the path to the federal road (B164). Cross the federal road and continue along a small side street through Almdorf to the Berggasthof Hinterreit (e-bike charging station). From there, the route goes over the Schlossberg (short push section, about 70 m) back to the town center of Maria Alm. Route: Maria Alm - Almdorf - Gasthof Hinterreit - Schlossberg - Maria Alm.
