At the mountain hotel Arthurhaus you take the path number 18 on the left, also called Murmeltierweg. This path is about 1.5 km long. You stay on this path and at the junction, turn left over a forest road past farms to the Bürglhöh Guesthouse. From there, various routes lead to Bischofshofen.

Path Conditions
Start your route at the parking lot near the Arthurhaus. From there, take the Murmeltierweg (path number 18), which offers you not only breathtaking views but also exciting points of interest. The path leads you through dense high forest, where you can fully enjoy the fresh air and nature. Keep an eye out for the cute marmots, which are often seen here – a real highlight! After about 1.5 km, you will reach the ski jump in Bischofshofen. Here, you can take a short break and admire the impressive ski jumps. You might even be lucky enough to witness a training day of the ski jumpers! Continue your way and enjoy the physical challenge this hike offers. The return path leads you back along the same route to the Arthurhaus, where you can reward yourself with a well-deserved refreshment.
