Alpine walk to the Zachhofalm

We start the route above the Übergossene Alm Hotel at the Zachhofalmbahn parking lot (only operating in winter). Here we follow the parking lot path towards Liebenaualm (only open in winter) on trail no. 64 until we reach a fork. Here we decide whether to ascend via the gentle forest road or the slightly steeper trail. The forest road crosses the Bürglalmweg and follows it for a short distance. At a fork, we follow trail no. 63a towards Zachhofalm. This way we reach the hut within an hour. At the hut, herbal products, homemade farm ice cream, and many other products are sold. You can also participate in TEH seminars by appointment. The return route to the valley initially follows the same path until we reach a fork where the ski slope is in winter; this is the start of the trail down to Liebenaualm. We follow this to Liebenaualm and then back to the starting point.
