Terms and Conditions for the Giveaway
Release from Instagram / Facebook
This giveaway is in no way affiliated with Meta (Instagram / Facebook) and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Meta (Instagram / Facebook). The recipient of the data provided by participants is not Meta (Instagram / Facebook), but Hochkönig Tourismus GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”). Participants may not assert any claims against Meta (Instagram / Facebook) arising from or in connection with their participation in the giveaway.
Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
The Organizer is offering the “Königstour Bike Giveaway” as a prize draw on Instagram / Facebook. Participation in the giveaway is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Participation / Giveaway Period
The Königstour Bike Giveaway of the Hochkönig region begins on 30 April 2026 and ends on 31 May 2026 at 11:59:59 PM CEST.
All natural persons who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to participate. By entering the giveaway, the participant confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions and confirms that they are of legal age. To participate, all information provided by the participant to the Organizer must be truthful. The Organizer is under no obligation to verify the accuracy of such information or to carry out any related investigations.
2. Prize Draw
All participants who answer one of the six questions posted during the promotional period via the official channels @hochkoenig on Instagram and @hochkoenig.at on Facebook will be entered into the draw. The winner will be selected at random in accordance with the principle of chance. Responses may be submitted via either Instagram or Facebook, regardless of whether they are sent as a story reply or a direct message.
The winner will be selected on 5 June 2026. The prize is non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The winner will be contacted on 5 June 2026 via Instagram Direct Message or Facebook Direct Message with further details. Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide, including their name and email address, is correct. If the winner does not contact the Organizer within 5 days of being notified, their claim to the prize will expire and a new winner will be drawn.
3. Prize
The following main prize will be raffled among all participants:

4. Changes to the Terms and Conditions / Termination of the Giveaway
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or to suspend or terminate the prize draw, in whole or in part, for good cause without prior notice. This applies in particular if circumstances arise that disrupt or prevent the planned course of the giveaway or prize draw, for example in the event of computer viruses, software and or hardware errors, or other technical issues that may impair its operation. This also applies if the execution of the giveaway is materially impaired or rendered impossible for legal reasons, as well as in cases of manipulation or attempted manipulation affecting the administration, security, integrity, and or proper conduct of the prize draw.
5. Liability of the Organizer
The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the actions of third parties and cannot be held liable for their actions or failure to act.
6. Data Protection Information
The following data is processed by the Organizer exclusively for the purpose of conducting and administering the giveaway: username, public Facebook / Instagram profile information, and, where applicable, Facebook / Instagram comments relating to the giveaway. In the case of winners, we also process the following data: name and email address.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purposes of the giveaway is performance of a contract pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to provide such data will only result in you being unable to participate in the giveaway. Participants are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, including their name and email address.
The data of winners will be stored for the duration of the giveaway and, for the purpose of handling any potential prize related or damage claims, for a maximum of 3 years thereafter, after which it will be deleted.
Participants have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of their personal data, as well as the right to data portability. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority:
